I have this irksome inability to just let messed-up sketchbook pages go. I have to niggle and niggle at them till I can’t see anything else to do. This is mentally unsound, and counter to all good advice from a thousand sketching gurus, who’ll counsel you to just be willing to mess up a sketch and turn the page on it.
You should take that advice, if you can. If you can’t, then embrace your obsession and post your pathology for all the world to see.
